Fast Shutter Speed
Faster shutter speeds mean the shutter remains open for a shorter period of time, resulting in light having less time on the sensor.
For this project, we had a glass box filled halfway with water and dropped different items into the water while taking a photo. The different shapes of the object and different force used to drop it as well as the various changes in camera settings changed the outcome of the image - allowing various outcomes. The fast shutter speed meant that the splash of the water and the falling object could be caught in a sharp way.
